About museum
The Karelian Isthmus Military Museum — this non-state museum was opened on July 26, 2013 by military historian Bair Irincheev at his own expense.
Since 2016, the museum has been located on the territory of Military Base No. 205 of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (Vyborg, Leningrad Region)
Museum exhibits (over 2000) are private collections and items found (North-West Search Association)
The museum accepts tourists from Russia, Finland, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, South Africa, China, Thailand
The museum conducts field trips to battlefields of the Soviet-Finnish war, battlefields of the Great Patriotic War (WWII on the Eastern Front)
We offer you several expositions:
- «The feat of women in the defense of the homeland»
- Exhibition of leaflets from the wars of 1939-40 and 1941-44
- Diorama «In that not famous war»
